The remaining Contributions budget for March to June is 467h, which comes out to ~7.5h/month per CC.

I got a fright when I checked my CC hours for March this morning and saw that my visa application hours (8 hours) had been included in the total. Do these hours have to be accounted for within the 7.5 hour budget?

@tikr Ah, I forgot that this limit was specifically for the Contributions account, and the ticket I was referring to is from the Conferences account. Thanks for drawing my attention to that.

@braden The commitments of all the partners to the program is currently being updated as part of https://openedx.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/COMM/pages/4704075777/Partners+as+Maintainers+-+Proposals - so we will update our commitment as an organization accordingly soon, for all core contributors.

It’s been a while, and i see that change is still only a “proposal”… but have we announced this change to our CC commitments yet?

@jill The proposals are currently being discussed on the TOC side; as everything community-related it takes forever to get everyone to agree :p But it is in the works.

In the meantime, given how much above we have been to our commitments (and still are if we consider the fact that all work toward a contribution that ends up in an upstream PR or ticket should be counted), we are more than fine - and way above everyone else, actually.
