@braden Essentially, yes, to add options that keep the gitlab part of the stack open source. Though the situation has changed since then, as Launchpad now exists and is in use, so the additional solutions need to take that into account, to build on top/besides the Launchpad stack, which would be good to keep - so a new discovery would be better, but I guess it depends on what we mean by “new”.
That would be a very good document to contribute as part of the task 
It would also need some concrete planning for adopting it in our standard stack and migrating projects to it.
