I’m only interested in the part about having someone actively fixing the problems that affect the team. In my opnion the role should be only about about that.

Hopefully all these responsibilities don’t dillute the focus on improving issues that developers are facing.

As far as I’m concerned, as soon as possible. Next sprint would be fine.

No need to fret about permissions. The only thing you might be missing is a Zoom account to host the Contributor’s Meetup, and that should be perfectly doable by Tuesday.
