Thanks everybody for making the workshop fun today! Here is the Guide to Effective Client Communications with more details we couldn’t cover in 2 workshops on:
Building rapport
Strategic questioning
Active listening
Objection handling (plus a brief section on negotiation)
Recaps for better understanding
Also thanks to BizDev, including Fox and Gabriel for their ideas and also Gabriel for super production help!
And here’s the recording of the Effective Client Communication Pt. 2 workshop! I’ll schedule a task to add this recording (and Part 1, too) to our onboarding course, as optional material.
Thank you for running these sessions @DouglasDraper and @gabriel ! Even though I didn’t get to do the role playing exercises, I still feel like I learned a lot from listening to everyone’s experiences.
The last question on our workbooks was “List any additional topics or skills you would like to have covered in a future workshop”, and so I was wondering: since so many of our quotes and RFPs are presented in writing instead of in meetings/in person, how do we adapt these approaches for written communication?
