The question came up yesterday during a conversation about participation to conferences, and I wasn’t sure what would be a good answer - are there good education-related conferences in Europe, worth attending? At least at the project level with Open edX, to reach people who might not have heard it.
@antoviaque Eden was running a thing for a while where she would orchestrate a gaggle of reps from different Open edX vendors to go attend conferences together, renting a booth and sharing it to save costs.
We declined during the initial year-- we didn’t have the bandwidth/budget, but it would probably be worth checking in with her to see if it’s still ongoing or if there were any issues that made it stop. cc @jordan
@Fox Yes it’s still a thing - that’s part of why I ask, to be able to recommend good conferences the Open edX project could attend (maybe us too, but that’s secondary).

@antoviaque This could be a long shot but FOSDEM looks like a good conference, they have an Educational devroom, we could possibly present talk or even have a booth there.
