I’m sad to read that, but I’m happy you’re going to a good place!
I learned a lot from you, and I’m really grateful for that. I hope that you stay involved in the community!
Don’t hesitate to reach out to discuss your thoughts and ideas in the future!
Hi @jill, you are a great colleague, amazing developer, and a super-woman all in one. I still fondly remember you helping me a lot during my initial months working at OpenCraft, and were always available for help even though we lived in far away time zones (those 2 or 3 AM meetings for you ) and were a part of different cells. I was inspired by your strength and resilience during your life/health crisis and how you were able to keep your chin up with s smile through that. I was fortunate and glad to meet you during the 2019 San Diego Open edX conference and you were as welcoming and helpful as ever then.
I’m sure your new job will be blessed to have you there and you will rock! My best wishes for the future!
My last working day with OpenCraft is today, which is also the last day of the 2025 conference. Huge thank you to everyone for your kind words and all the hugs! I will miss you dearly.
But I’ll still be around!
I’ve updated my accounts here on the forum and on Slack to use my personal email, so feel free to contact me there for anything at all.
I will also stay on as a personal Core Contributor, and will continue to maintain the github repositories I’ve taken on (edx-ora2, edx-submissions, completion), so keep pinging me for PR reviews or questions there too.
I’ll do my best to attend future conferences too.
But if anyone finds themselves in Australia at anytime, look me up! I’ve got a spare room, and would love to meet you again.
