FYI, the chatroulette tool is renewed, you can use https://opencraft.com/chat-roulette/ for any of the upcoming social chats over the next year. Then at the end of the year, we can circle back to see if it’s worth renewing it again then.

Also, for the technical issues some people had, they sent the following info, in case that’s useful:

We experienced an issue last week with the selection of mic which caused issues with the audio for some users, it is solved by now. If it happens again please let me know. For camera it depends on what error message the users received, in general all browser and devices work but I do not recommend using Google Chrome on an iPhone/iPad.

If you get the message that the camera is denied:

Firefox or Google Chrome Computer:

Click the camera icon on the left or right side of the address bar. You can adjust your settings now and allow access again.

Safari Computer
Go to your Safari Settings by clicking on “Safari” and then “Preferences” on the top left of your desktop. The window below will open and you can adjust your settings for your camera and microphone.
iPhone
Reload the website to be asked again if you want to allow access to the camera and microphone. If that doesn’t work please go to your iPhone Settings → Safari Settings to allow access for microphone and camera again.

Android
Go to your Settings → Site Settings and allow access for camera and microphone again.
