The co-presented Handling Open edX Instances at Scale is accepted, my other talk is not accepted. --Updated
My talk âModel-Agnostic AI-enhanced Learning Componentsâ has been accepted. The other one is still being evaluated. Mike from WGU will be co-presenting it with me.
My talk proposal has been rejected. If anyone wants/needs a co-presenter, please @ me.
I just got an email that my talk proposal (âMigrating from Ansible to Harmony & Groveâ) has been rejected.
My talk on how the community has changed since the edX/2U merger was not accepted.
My lightning talk was declined which is now a bit of a relief as I was already approved for my talk about meilisearch and another co-presentation with Axim, so my plate is pretty full.
I got the news that my proposal has been rejected today.
there was no specific feedback for your talk, it simply did not rank as high in the comparison ranking.
I am not surprised. Itâs pretty much the same response from last year. The enterprise stack doesnât have the critical mass. However, I was hoping there is some interest in exploring the features, as the talk was about future work.
Anyway, I am available if anyone else needs help with any of their talks.
My talk proposals were not accepted either. Just got the email.
Same here, my talk was not accepted.
My talk wasnât accepted either.
My SalesForce integration talk wasnât accepted. If anyone needs help, just let me know.
My talk was not accepted.
My other talk was not accepted.

Congrats @Pooja Kulkarni ! By the way, do you think Mike from WGU might be able to provide a short standalone quote about OpenCraft on the new website and/or for inclusion in the case study? @Cassie Zamparini I think weâre always looking for more of these, no?
My session: Open Source Master Class: Lessons in Open Source Collaboration was declined. Let me know if you need feedback, editing or support for your Open edX Conference 2025 sessions.
@DouglasDraper We could fit in a quote but at the same time Iâd also prefer to start working on other case studies and blog posts
Looks like I wonât be participating in another session at the conference - Product Development and Usage which is a follow up to last yearâs business development workshop that I helped design and facilitate. Interestingly, what I would do is being replaced by AI , including:
- AI-powered moderation
- AI-generated visualizations to display feedback and key insights
- A live brainstorming session using Miro integrated with ChatGPT, where AI will analyze and enhance participant inputs in real-time
- Finally, an âAI Solutions Sprintâ where participants will be split into teams and given AI tools like Notion AI to refine solutions for platform challenges.
Should be interesting!
Doing that all with AI sounds soulless to me :p
Gee Braden,
I didnât want to say it but I donât disagree.
I think itâs great to try new things with technology, especially in our business. However, when faced with the very rare (1X per yr!) opportunity for the community to see, engage and actually get to know one another, Iâm all for maximizing human to human interactions and minimizing technical barriers. We took a pretty basic approach last year with flip charts, pen and paper and, I think, engaging brainstorming activities. We were able to convince people to take the low tech approach last year by using the somewhat spurious argument concerning the risk of âload sheddingâ (no power!) in S. Africa. But weâll see how it goes.
