@Agrendalath Here is what I was referring to yesterday - we need to pay for parking AND for the entrance into the Abbey. The rest is free though.

I’d like to have more time than just the afternoon – especially since the abbey closes at 7pm. But if that doesn’t work for everyone, maybe we have one group with a morning departure, and we can meet up with the later group for dinner?

@KatiaDimova Could you help recommend if getting to Mont Saint-Michel around 1pm / 1:30pm on a Friday is a good idea? I see it takes 1.5 hours to get there, and I’m not sure what traffic will be like on a Friday. So any suggestions you might have about this would be great, including if we should pre-buy tickets for the Abbey.
@Ali @kaustav @farhaan @braden Great! I wrote to the bike rental shop, they are good with delivering us the bikes here on Saturday. I’m checking how to best book/pay currently. @cassie I believe Katia is off this week so I asked Kevin about this, and he said that Friday afternoon is likely to be quite crowded. He reiterated the advice to go very early in the morning to beat the crowds. He also said that to eat it’s not the best place, it’s better to try to find something outside of that area - there are very good restaurants but elsewhere ;p

Could everyone who’s interested in going please put your names on the Activities sheet? There are two entries: one for the morning and one for the late afternoon.
Ticket booking depends on numbers, but it looks like we should be able to do group tickets. EDIT group tickets are only for professional tour groups, but I can handle the booking and share the cost on Splitwise.
And yes, we’ll have to take care of our own transportation.
