@farhaan can I guess here that we’re talking 15 USD as the cost guide?

As an Australian with the AUD currency that uses the “$” symbol, it always mildly irritates me seeing this symbol on websites that aren’t explicitly Australian. I never know if they’ve localised the currency (AUD), standardised on something commonly used internationally (ie. USD), or using their local currency which happens to also use the $ sign (any number of other currencies). Sometimes results in spending 50% more than expected or getting international transaction fees.

Looks like I am the first person to receive gifts from secret santa this year. And what a gift.
I had asked for something either related to food or some kind of gadget. My gift is a combination of both - It’s a cookbook with 200 cocktail recepies along a full cocktail making set:
Cocktail making is something that’s always fascinated me, but I never seriously considered getting into. But thanks to this amazing gift, I can’t wait to get started on my making some interesting cocktails this weekend.
Also, it seems I got a bonus gift - a lovely bangle fell out of the package which had the cocktail recepie book. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit me, but I am sure it would have looked great on me .
Now onto the difficult task of figuring out who my secret santa is. I got the gift from amazon, and there was no hint at all in the package as to who sent it. I even called up amazon, but they couldn’t tell either.
So, I will guess @gabriel (Gabriel comes to mind whenever I hear alcohol and party ) or perhaps @farhaan since I know he likes to experiment with recepies and drinks.
You got me!!! I might not be as much of a party animal as Gabriel or Xavier, but I do enjoy a good cocktail every now and then.
That bracelet is a mystery though… it definitely wasn’t meant to be part of the gift! Someone from the Amazon warehouse was obviously feeling generous.
Due the customs/shipping requirements, there wasn’t a way to send mine without putting my name on the front. So whoever it is, if you want a shot at guessing still, avoid reading the label
The little sharky ornament is so cute!! I’m going to hang her on my tree, and when xmas is over, put her on my bag’s zipper. Such a sweetie! I love the little puzzles too, and it looks like someone with mad rubick’s skills made star patterns on each side
However, the Australia Post packaging made it pretty easy to guess who might have sent it – was it you,@samuel ? And did you make the shark?
Aha busted, yep it was me. Glad you like them! I didn’t make the shark, but it was from the local arts centre - I didn’t see a name, but I’m guessing it’s a local artist.
It’s a bit big for me-- but between holiday eating and shrinking through Laundry, I suspect it will fit much better soon
It looks like whoever bought it bought it for me from a vendor a few hours drive away and had it shipped to me. So I don’t have any obvious information that would allow me to guess. Perhaps Jill?
Thank you, it’s a really cool collection! The mini jawa is really cute; I haven’t read the Time War book, but it looks really intriguing; and the Montréal art book is lovely.
It was sent from Australia, so the obvious guess is @jill. However, the French and references to Quebec make me think it could be @gabriel with a drop shipping friend in Australia. Or it could be @jill trying to throw me off track…
